Wrapping up 2018 with Eileen Hull

Watercoloring Made Easy
The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing their favourite posts from 2018.  Lets just say picking my favourite 3 from this year was hard.  I love them all!
I love to watercolor.  Check out this tutorial for making watercolor Koi and Heart & Soul Flowerdie lily.

Storage Options
The Planner & Storage die is so versatile.  I love the simplicity of this project and I love being organized.  Click the link to see more.

Place Cards
It wouldn't be a wrap up of my favourite projects this year of something Fall like wasn't included.  I love the Place Card & Flowers die to add that final rustic touch to any table decor.
Wait until you get your hands on the new release!  It's going to be a creative 2019!

A Little Wreath

Oh my... look at this teeny wreath.  This wreath is quick to create with a spritz of stain, tattered banner and some bakers twine.

The smallest tattered banner is great for this small ornament.

I tied off some colourful mini jingles for the wreath topper.
I have all these little wooden rounds and thought it might look awesome mounted to it.  And I was right!

Tied off with Bakers Twine it's ready for my Mom's tree...

Fa La La...

It's always wine o'clock somewhere.  This very quick Wine Tag is a stunner when wrapped around a bottle of wine or spirits.  The perfect WOW to your gift giving.

Candied Apple red to ink up the 3D Embossing folder.  I sliced the top of the folder to slide the cardstock through.

Now that's deep...

Tattered poinsettia in white... YA I DID!

I spritzed some Tarnished Brass spray stain.  See... shimmer.

I still have a few punches laying around.  Well, more boxed up since I like to be organized.

I made a few.  I was supposed to make 24 but I got off the hook with making only 6.  PHEW...!

We Wish you a Merry Christmas

Ohhh my goodness it's time for a Christmas tag!  Does anyone miss these?  I sure do.  The background is the star of this tag with it's Glorious Gatherings stamp and shimmer spray stains.

Shimmery Bliss

Some added jingles.

A wee brushbottle tree.  I mean why not right...

Quote Chips that I chopped up.

Look at that stamp.  It loads the whole tag.

A fluffy bow.

The best part... it jingles.  This would be awesome as a card as well.  You can send this as a gift, tuck it in a tree or hang from a wine bottle.

Christmas Market

***Shop the Christmas Market***
So I had this idea.  These little salvaged tins are adorable and I am always trying to think how I can make stuff like this different.  It all started with the thimbles and how they can be turned into baskets full of holiday yummies!

A table full of holiday wears.

Jingles, ornaments, pinecones and snowballs.

Little glass jars of kisses, coal, snow and wishes.

Each thimble is full.

Christmas Market signage... I flipped over one of the quote chips and stamped market.

A few logs tied up.

A little brushbottle tree with a snowflake topper.

I used a little wood round piece for a table.

Setting the scene for a vintage shoppe.

The days are getting frosty...  with 6" of fresh snow that fell this Frosty scene really ties into my Christmas decor.  Creating this snowy vignette was quick and easy.

The salvaged snowman doesn't need to have coal for buttons and a carrot nose.  Keeping in theme with this warm wash of colours.

A wordband wrapped with this sparkly natural ribbon.

This tattered banner is the perfect size for the brushbottle wreath.  No stain on this wreath.

Tucked away are some ice skates and snowballs.

I twirled the ribbon and attacked with a bow.  This way the lid will stay in place.

Create a snowy scene in these Salvaged Tins.  There are so many things to create and so little time.

Joyeux means Happy and these snowflake ornaments are happy!
Sizzix has these wee domes for making ornaments.  OK well making snowglobes.   Last week I was stalking Instagram when I saw my UBER talented friend Wendy's post on her ornaments using these domes.  You can check out her awesomeness HERE.I was super inspired...

These are a small gift for my husband's upcoming work function.  I have kept the sentiment "holiday neutral" out of respect for personal belief's.

The tattered banner is a perfect teeny size for the layered snowflake.

Each snowflake is embossed with Soft Fallen Snow powder for a chunky snowy iridescent look.  I layered the back with a 2nd snowflake inked in tumbled glass distress oxide.

The dome is filled with some white powder and a snowflake charm.

The white really pops on the tree.

Here are a few flakes.

The shimmer of the embossed snowflake the dome full of shimmer would look great on a tree or hanging from a window catching the light.
