Fall-O-Ween Five- Thanksgiving Place Cards

This is the start of Fall-O-Ween Five.  My Fall/ Halloween Inspiration Series.

How it works...

Blog posts will be Inspiration photos with a quick video showing an inky technique.  A quick glimpse into what I do with my paints and inks.  Easy right...  You can see my videos here and across my social media.  Enjoy the next 5 days of inspiration!

I am rebuilding my channel and video library.

It's Thanksgiving tomorrow and what better way to add some decor is by adding some Place Card Table Settings.

Creating realistic leaves is easy with a little spray stain.

Add a little name tag... need to work on my writing.

Stamping with Archival ink & Stampers Anonymous.  Don't forget to ink the edges.

The perfect fall place setting and no time at all to create with the Place Cards & Flower Die.

While we are here enjoying day 1 of the Fall-O-Ween Five this is also the perfect post for the Eileen Hull Inspiration Team.  Where we are celebrating fall all month.

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

I may live in a snow globe but I can dream of Wildflowers!
Just dusting off the cobwebs on my blog.  I try to take a creative break or slowdown during Jan/ Feb.  However, I have been creating still!  So, I did just get Sizzix shipment with some new goodies including the new Wildflowers 2!

I have all the floral dies but the wildflowers are my thing!  I love them.  I started cutting the Wildflowers,Wildflowers 2 and the new Small Tattered Florals.  All the flowers are inked with Magenta Nuance Pigment Powders.

The Small Tattered Florals are so teeny!  I just found a set of Stylus Tools... it came in a 3 pack and I wasn't sure if I need 3 but YA I do!  Spray and roll!
Look how the smallest floral rolls with the smallest stylus tool.  SCORE!  Embossing time.

I also got the new Flourish Texture Fadeand it is awesome. For inking I used Eileen Hull Colorbox Color Blends.  Creating strips of color with the built in sponge and blending with my blending pen.

This Watering Can is so adora…

Mixed Media Canvas Facebook Live

I was excited to be on Creative Scrapbooker Magazine's Facebook Page doing my first Facebook Live!  I created this canvas page with Prima paints and Stampers Anonymous stamps and stencils.  Oh and a fun napkin technique ;)

Valentines is just around the corner.

Make sure to check out the video HERE on how I created this mixed media piece.
Thanks for popping by... Looking forward to creating again with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.
