Creating a Haunting Background

EEK... INDEED!

It's Halloween everyday in October for me.  I live and breath this sh*t.  I love everything about this time of the year.  You can find this card in the current issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.   This issue also happens to be my cover... that's another EEK!  Here is a closer look at this hauntingly fun background.

I use Ranger's Glossy Paper to create this background.  Apply your Oxide Inks right onto your craft matt and spay with water.  Then blot your glossy paper and dry.  Keep repeating this until your ink is gone.

Apply Distress Glaze right over top of your inky dry glossy paper.  Coat the whole piece of glossy then buff off with a dry cloth or paper towel.  Like wax on a car... you get depth and richness of colour.  Gather your spooky layers and create.

Love these Halloween Paper Dolls. A little distress marker in peeled paint and we have a witch people.

Be scary... YA these witches look BADA$$

Rosettes... always good for any occasion.

Stamped right over top of the glossy paper.

EEK is added to the rosettes.

Even these witches have dimension.

Don't forget the inside.

Creepy right...

Are you ready to haunt your background!  Apply these simple steps to make the most delectable backgrounds.  Take control and use your supplies to create anything you want.  Happy Haunting... I mean crafting!
