Freaky Friday Blog Hop

VELCOME... Enter is you dare for there are wild things, crawlies and lives to spare.

Scrap n' Stamp is hosting a creepy blog hope to inspire your frightful side using the new Tim Holtz Ancestors Paper Dolls. You should be arriving from Karen Warner's blog if you're still alive!

Thanks for creeping your way over.  I am thrilled to share my 80 year old Art Journal.  I cut out half the pages and front cover to create this little shadow box effect. Leave the remainder of the pages for future art journaling.

These boys are by far my most beloved characters with their inky pumpkins.

The new addition of the new witchy duo is divine!

EEK... How can you not love the Letterpress Blocks all inky and distressed.

The background is simply inked up right on the pages layering the Tim Holtz Twisted die cut, moss and mini pumpkins.

Adventures in Yuppo and alcohol inks make this slime amazing!

I wrapped the entire book in tinsel twine and heat it a bit for a more worn and distressed look.

I have left the book open so I can create a creepy version of my Art Journaling pages.

A Frightful Art Journal in the waiting...

Now it's time to drop dead and head over to Nancy Frustaci's blog for a frightfully good time!

"Who says Friday the 13th is bad luck - Here's your chance to win! Scrap'n Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon for every stop on the blog hop! So make sure to take a moment and comment on on all the designer's fabulous work. Winners will be announced Oct 20th and must email Scrap'n Stamp to claim their prize! GOOD LUCK!"

Did you get lost on the way?  Here's a list to follow... so don't delay!

  15. This is fantastic! Nicole . Wow! 80 year old's - that really is a sign of good craftsmanship to stand that length of time. Such a great way to give it a new life . Love the shadow box window in which you have created a wonderful spookilicious scene and that it still leaves pages for you to do more journaling . Those neon drips are so sriking against the black .
Terrific project . Thank you for joining us at A Vintage Journey x
