Vintage Tree Lot Trailer

It's a Winter Wonderland Blog Hop with DVWV Design Team and the Inspiration Team.  Check it out and stop by every week for Holiday Inspiration!
I couldn't help myself and made the Travel Trailer into a Vintage Tree Lot Trailer for my Tree Lot.

I received a few new paper packs and I couldn't resist the Cranberry Christmas pack for this Travel Trailer.  I went to town cutting pieces of Cranberry Christmas paper and mat board.

I made some small windows for the trailer and created a door.

Trim the flaps that attach to the side of the trailer so you don't see them through the window.  Then I grabbed a bunch of metal embellishments and vintage decorations for that festive tree lot trailer.

Oh Joy

I cut the Dimensional Star with a piece of Cranberry paper and mounted it behind the JOY blocks.

For fun... an open sign!

...and closed.

I attached the Believe Script Charm to the mini wreath and I mounted it over one of the open windows.

It sounds mean but he wasn't hurt... I cut the legs off and embossed this little one with Soft Fallen Snow embossing powder.

Attached to the front is a string of vintage ornaments.

Click... lights are on!

Open for the Holidays

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

It's a Wrap

It's here... finally the Book Club 2 is releasing this month.  The Inspiration Team is sharing their Book Club 2 projects all month long to inspire you.  We are so excited to share the projects we made for Creativation.  This new release is perfect for all things journaling.
I was sent patent leather in blue.  I threaded some white elastic and through the Wrap Journal and added a wee patch of Velcro.  I decided to put the shiny side  and the more muted blue on the outside for a suede look.

I picked up this little note book at the $1 store and it's a perfect fit.  I added the

Look... Journaling Words.

I even stamped the Wrap Journal on the outside.

Throw in a couple pages.

A few pockets...

Get ready to travel.

Finally so excited to share this Wrap Journal I have been holding on to for 6 months.  I love this new Journal and it's a great addition to your journals.  Be sure to check out all the new accessory cuts to deck out your journaling.

Watercoloring with Butterflies & Oxides

The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing tutorials all month long.  I do have a video tutorial for this card but it won't be read for awhile.  Hey, it happens.  I at least have a couple of photo's until the whole video is posted on Creative Scrapbooker Magazines website.

Loving the new Oxide inks especially as we approach those soft easter pallets.

A little stamping.

I know it's not a box or cool journal.  One of my favourite dies is the Birds & Butterflies thinlit.  Yep, there are pretty little dies perfect for card making too.

I love the intricate butterfly to layer over.

A simple card and no it's not even a journal.

I will share the video when it's all done and posted.  I will even embed it in the post too.
Onto next month...
