Jingle

November has flow by and I had hours left to start my November tag.  I usually go for a Christmas theme November Tag since our Thanksgiving is over.  I was planning on going for blue and silver with a snowflake.  But then I saw the big jingle stamp.  The candied apple, evergreen bough and pine needles took over!

Check out Tim's Remix HERE.

Ack... I love jingles!  I did the embossing bits but it's hard to tell.  I coated the jingle in iridescent embossing powder and tied it off with a vintage ice skate and twine.

I used the gold Christmas rubs.  I wanted silver but they weren't wanting to transfer.  I'm all for a worn look but it was really not rubbing well.

I used the Alphanumeric to spell Joyeux on the cork.  A little more festive bakers twine and snowflake.

The jingle looks almost like real metal.  A little barn door and candied apple distress markers go a long way!

I am coming to 5 years of doing the 12 tags... 4 years I haven't missed one!  Sometimes I cut it close ;)

  2. Love your tag Nicole, fabulous interpretation of Tim's tag! And I hear you about the gilded remnant rubs, the silver especially are impossible to transfer, more than a little annoying! Deb xo
