Fish Bones a Crazy Cat and Leather

We have been seeing these crazy felines all over.  It wasn't until last week I even noticed they come with a few accessories.  Including the wee fish bones.

Looking at my stamp set Upstream with the mini Koi Fish I noticed they are the same size... if the Mini Koi ended up as bones that is.
Time to ink up this Ginger Kitty with my distress markers rusty hinge, fossilized amber and ground espresso.

I added a pop of twisted citron for the eyes.  My dies are en-route so yep...fussy cutting for me :/

I wanted the the extra Mini Koi and fish bones to be in a basket.  Since I don't have one I improvised with the base of the juggler for the Big Top stamps.  Sizzix has new Leather Paper so I had to play cutting it out with the Tag and Bookplate die.

With the leather paper tag cut out time to test it!  I inked up my "Note to Self" wee folder.  Now time to test how durable this stuff is.

I sprayed, dragged, soaked, dried and repeated about 5 times to get this worn looking tag.  Yep, I am a fan!  It took my abuse and I threw product and water at it.  Ink your ribbon with the left over ink on the mat.

Ohhh pretty... because I wasn't done I then inked and stenciled it.

With the "EAT" cut out on mat board I sprayed back soot and sanded the edges.  Then I inked up this adorable Royal Fork Charm with twisted citron.  Then assemble.

Let's EAT!

I love this de-embossed look with the "Not to Self" folder.

It was worth all the fussy cutting... one boney fish in his mouth and a Mini Koi caught.

The leather paper really takes a lot!

This looks like a bucket a fish n' bones.  I added some glossy accents to the Mini Koi fish so they look slimy!  You would never have know it's from Big Top.

I love the pop of twisted citron on the Royal Fork Charm

What a fun tag to create and these new Crazy Cats and my Upstream stamps are so fun together.

I love all the textures, layers and inking on this tag!  Thanks for stopping in and saying hi!
