Spring Break- Vintage Travel

You still have time to enter the Art with Heart Challenge ,Spring Break!  For my project I wanted to share with you the Luggage Tag from Eileen's new Vintage Travel Sizzix line.  I love this die!  There are so many fun ways to use it.  Hanging off an ATB, used with a family photo, stamped sentiment or tucked into a mini album.

I really wanted to create something different with this die.  I wanted you to see what else this die can do.  So, I created a Luggage Tag Luminary by connecting the die and using tissue wrap in the cutouts.

I used some scrap Postale Tissue Wrap for the cutouts.

Don't throw away the cutout!  It's the perfect layer to add more Postale Tissue Wrap!

A messy bow and gumdrop.

I used Crackle Paste on the Luggage Tag.  Once dried I played around with my DecoArts Media Fluid Acrylic's!

For the top I had no idea what to do.  Then I thought about my dies and tried the Canister Die Lid layered with more Postale Tissue Wrap and it worked!  It just tucks down into the luminary.

Be sure to use a battery tea light.  No burning down the house!

It gives a nice glow!

I hope you liked how I used the Luggage Tag die from the new Vintage Travel Collection.  I like this die like this!
