Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge #5, Watercolor

If you frequent my blog then you know I LOVE to watercolor!  Another gift I made for my son's 13th birthday he had a couple weeks ago!  Teen's always ask for cash and creating this candy drawer box is a great way to stash the cash!  Otherwise it's just boring to give money!  Click HERE to see his other cash box I made for him.

These are so fast to make!  I used an 8x8 Tim Holtz paper pack for the designer paper.

Using a variety of my stencils and the Mini Distress Inks for the watercoloring each side.

I cut lucky #13 from my new Vintage Market XL Die.  I then coated it in Antique Linen Distress Glitter!

I mounted the 13 on my snowflake rosette.  I'm really loving this strip die!  And it's not even winter.

Since I live in a different Province then the rest of my family my kids often get cash!  This is a simple way to give cash for a teen!  Thanks for stopping by!!!

I will be playing along with the CC3 Challenge and Inspiration Emporium is sponsoring Challenge #5 for the CC3 Challenge!  I love getting mail from them;)

  8. Hi Nicole. Your gift box for your son's 13th birthday is awesome! What a great way to give cash...other than just handing it to him or sticking it in a boring envelope! Your sepia tones are awesome and each panel looks great! I also like your "13" topper! Thanks for joining us at CC3C. <3 Candy
