March Tag x2...plus a winner.
I love doing this technique.  I love getting 2 projects for 1! Some stuff I had and some stuff I didn't.  I have been trying ALL DAY to post this!  It's just been a crazy day of running around, cleaning the house and Mom stuff! Darn those kids wanting dinner...

This Bird Feather set is my first nature/ bird type stamp.  And I must say it's growing on me.

I have the tumbled glass in the stain and paint but not the ink?  Ohhh I wish I had it in the ink.
I just love how subtle the smudge is.

Inking the edges in frayed burlap and walnut stain bring out the colour.  It draws in your eye!

I've been waiting for the spritzer and I have yet to locate one where I am.  So I skipped it. Opting to just ink with my stencils.  The new stencils aren't here yet either.

My ink cart is supposed to be temporary but it's growing on me.  It sits right beside me when I need it, then roll it away when I'm done.

I changed up the smudge tag a little.

I used the word band and iced spruce for the 1st tag.

All my greens, browns and blues.  All quick access. Check out my storage post!

I used some scrabble pieces and inked the edges.  I LOVE the Tied Bow die.  I just had to add it in shattered paper and the little star.

I have a ton of jute.  Instead of buying the inky one I used the stain and simply made my own.  I still have rusty hinge fingers.

It worked pretty awesome!

I had some washi on the tag.  But I wasn't feeling it.  I ended up taking it off.  I added my #hashtag sentiment instead.  LOVE!!!

This is the 1st tag stamped.  I skipped the distress marker step.  I decided I wanted to stop.

 And the 2nd stamp smudged.

I am excited to try the spritzer when it arrives near me.

The honeycomb stencil is dreamy!

I flattened the staples then textured and pounded out the word band.
What a difference a smudge makes.
I love this technique so much I'm teaching a class on it!  This boxed set holds 8 cards, 4 first stamped cards and 4 smudge cards. Contact me if you live in the Calgary area and want to take the class with me. Did I mention I bake?

Thanks again to all my CANADIAN voters.  I wish I could send you all a gift card!  I had so much fun sharing my win with my first giveaway, Grungy Garden to all my crafty peeps around the world.  And now sharing a 2nd giveaway along with Scrapbooker's Paradise, $50 in crafty goodies!  A lot of you want Tim Goodies!  Who can blame you;)
