I have one piece of spring paper from my seasonal paper stash left. Since I love the Frosted film I decided to use it for my first cut!
To smooth out the creases and air pockets I used my acrylic block and scraped. Works like a charm.
Just look at how big these are. I do love projects and the size of this die is perfect for us "project" crafters!
I wanted another layer. With a little peeled paint and old paper stain I made quick work of this patterned paper. Using some vintage photo ink brings out this flowers inner grunge...or mine!
The frosted film takes the ink well too. Look at all these awesome floral bits:)
By heat drying the frosted film flowers they want to curl. Layer together and insert a metal gear and brad!
And fast forward to my project. I have a few of these wood picture frames. I painted them with chalkboard paint! This black makes the Jumbo Flower pop!
This flower is wonderfully big to pack a punch. Normally I would add 3 flowers to achieve this full look to anchor the corner of the frame.
I also cut the greenery leaves from the big die on grunge paper. Painted them with peeled paint and some more vintage photo ink for the grunge look.
I thought I would try the chalkboard technique on the frame. So I stamped "enjoy the journey" with embossing ink, some antiquities frosted crystal and chalking. The result isn't great but the potential is there. This is a grainy corner of the frame and hey I tried!
These little butterflies add a burst of colour. I just love this bright sugary look by adding the distress glitter. A little copper wire and he's flying.
Using the chalkboard paint allows you to have some fun with the chalk. In this case the trails left by the butterflies.
I love this photo of my family. I always ask my kids to grin and bear it for one photo then after that they can be silly! Now that feels springy!

Wow, those are big! I love the flower. Still not sure if I would benefit from getting the die but they do look cool! I like the frosted film you put on them. :) Great job!
