Craft Room Organization; Part 4- Creative Storage

Part 4-Storage

There are a lot of photo's in this post.  I really want you to see how I have a couple unique ways to store the things I love.  Lets cut to the chase.

Below my paper storage is my locker storage.  I'm beyond excited to share my great find I picked up a couple weeks ago, this grey locker.  I was in Value Village when I saw it, not a scratch and missing a door.  The price tag was $10!  I ripped it off and became the "IKEA" lady "START THE CAR, START THE CAR"!  What a find and I just love it.  The missing door holds my scraps and strip dies in the galvanized bins.  Behind the door is 4 boxes of my punches.  In the end I saved $100 buy not buying 4 of the wee red Helmers from Ikea.

It was really hard to wait 2 weeks to buy these!  My husband was adamant I should have red and he was right.  I LOVE these metal drawers.  I made labels for each drawer out of chipboard and chalkboard paint.  Now when I change whats in there I can wipe it off and label in chalk.

These Antonius (Ikea) organizers fit perfect in the drawers to separate my stuff.

On top of each Helmer is a wood box with a chalkboard label.  In this one there are completed cards and tags.  Ready to mail or attach to a gift.

On the other side are tags and layers that are "Ready" to be made into something quick!  This is what I make when I have extra ink, stain or paint on my craft mat!  Always use up your extra product, look at the result!  Ready made layers.

An assortment of the wood boxes (I already had) and my new wire baskets.  The wood works well for the envelops to keep them clean and this wire baskets has stuff that's "In the Works"
I love the variation of materials.  The metal is industrial and the wood warms it all up.

I wasn't going to get this metal Ikea cart, Raskog.  But I just couldn't stop thinking about it.  For the moment it holds all my inks and sponges.  I can roll it beside me when I need ink and roll it away when I'm done.

As I keep collecting inks I'll run out of room.  Perhaps 2 carts?

I love my sponges and how this all looks.  So many yummy colours.

My markers laying down.  I need more distress markers now.  Anything that needs a label is done in chalkboard paint.
I have these little wood crates from the $1 store.  So I made signs for these too.  A great spot for the smaller Ranger Bottles.

I need more stuff!

My stamps were very hard to figure out for storage.  I wasn't liking the options for storage I was researching.  I want to see them.  I bought these baskets, clipped on the chalkboard label and now I can see them.  Now I'm really happy!

These sit up on open shelving.  I can just grab the basket down and dig though.

These baskets will hold a lot of stamps.  I had better get filling them.

I was so excited to find this next storage solution for my Cricut cartridges.  This galvanized tool box!  I don't like the bulky cricut cart boxes.  They remind me of something I'd find in a toddlers room.  So finding an option that fits my room took some time.  It ended up being once I saw it I knew.

Here's my solution.  I knew I wanted them out of the boxes and into something but what I didn't know until I saw this!  Love at first sight.

I removed all the jelly's and booklets and divided.  My label maker ran out of label tape.  But I will finish labeling when I replace it.

The lid holds all the cartridges using velcro.  I gave a lot of my carts away so this is plenty of room for my favourite carts.

My next post will be a bit.  My husband is resizing my Crate Storage this weekend.  I'm moving it to a different wall.  We need to shave out a couple inches.  Thanks for checking out my storage solutions!  I hope you find something you like.

If you didn't see my announcement this morning please check it out.  I am a finalist for the
