November Tag- Chalk Art
I'm in love! I had to wait awhile to get my Antiquities Frosted Crystal to make this technique work. And it was worth the wait! What a fun technique this is and chalkboard is everywhere. It really has such a nostalgic look.
I made 2 tags (I couldn't stop chalking) because I wanted to make one with the framelits for the layered technique Tim showed us. But, I really wanted a pop of colour. This is where the new Assemblage Snowman was perfect. I love snowmen!
I added the enamel tag with some alcohol ink, sail boat blue. I added the Christmas rubs to the enamel tag. The stamp set is Old Fashioned Christmas all chalked up.
The Assemblage Snowman is all glittery. I stained the grungeboard with picket fence and tumbled glass. Then adding distress glitter to everything.
I wanted to add another layer of chalking so I cut ribbon flags, stamped and chalked. I hung them on some tinsel.
I made the 2nd tag more like the technique for the November Tag. I don't have the magnetic plate so I just lined it up. Then adding the layers with dimensionals. I also added a little more dimension with the hat, scarf and carrot nose.
Here's my version and Tim's side by side.
I was really excited for this tag. I love the nostalgic look of the chalking. This was way too much fun!
Super cute! I love snowmen too! :)
