WOOHOO THIS TAG WON FOR MAY'S TAG!!!!

Were you on Facebook?  Did you see what I picked up?

I only got 2 out of the 3 Rub sets and maybe I'll add the number rubs?  I really love the Enamel Tags so I was excited to add them to my collection.  I'm not a rub fan and I took to Facebook to ask about them.  I got the hang of it after one floating finger (see below) and I would use these again.  But I don't think all the time.  They were cheap just how I like my crafts;p

OK no Mona for me.  I've never been a fan of her smile and when I was at the Louvre last year and saw her for real...she still didn't do much for me.  But LOVE my new Gent from the Paris Memoir set.

See... floating finger below to the top left of the balloon.  Once I took the back sheet off it got easier.

I used the stains (I just started collecting them) and inks I have on hand.  I love combining the stains and inks.  MESSY!

I wasn't going to stress about some exposed manila tag where the stain didn't catch.  That's where the ink can fill it in.  The resists is a big plus for these little rubs!

See how crafty I am, I lined the Gent up to hold the Balloon with his hand.  This is why the floating finger happened.

Now that the Gent is holding my balloon I stamped the chicken wire randomly.

I only have a few Alcohol Inks.  I don't use them often so I grabbed the first one I saw.  This Enamel tag is fantastic!

Now for those little word rubs.  I do like words and I kinda rubbed at will!

My finished Tag!

I stamped the Gent half on the rub...cool!

Look, he's holding the balloon!

It's kinda hard not to go rub nuts.

Pounding the brads is always a good time.

My tag all pulled together

Using the Rubs in the end was pretty cool.  I really love anything that acts as a resist and this is really accomplished using these.  I would saying adding these to your stash (I'm a newbie) is good and they are really inexpensive.  It was a good "New" technique I would have otherwise overlooked.

Thanks for looking!  Onto June...
