Metalic Christmas Tag

Oh silver is so pretty at Christmas, even with some black in there. I ended up making a couple of these to give away.  These are pretty easy to make with a couple fun techniques!

I spray my tag with adhesive then I layered some tin foil over the tag. Now get ready to emboss with a folder over your choice.  I used this TH metal rivet one.  But snowflakes would be pretty too.  Paint some black acrylic paint and wait for it to dry.  Once dried give the tag a light sand exposing the tin foil.  I LOVE the enamel look so I coated my tag with versamark and dipped into UTEE powder.  Once its heated it looks like glass really showing off that tag.

My GF picked up the TH Noel die.  I so want it.  But lucky me I get to borrow.  I ran it through grungeboard then silver paper.

The gears are the Movers and Shapers gears and the smallest from the Gadget Gear die.  I embossed with silver detail embossing powder, sand them a bit then added some black soot ink for a worn look.  The tinsel is an added silvery touch.

I attached everything with my Tiny Attacher for more metallic elements.

The metal gears as ornaments are a fun way to celebrate Christmas and a little different.

Thanks for taking a look:)
