A Christmas Wreath

Is it really December first?  Well, good time to show you my "first" wreath!

I'll start the month off with my new Christmas Wreath.  This will be our first Christmas in our new basement and so let the decorating begin!  But, I need a wreath for the fireplace.  So, a trip or 2 down the Christmas isles and a lot of cuts with my new die, TH Tattered Poinsettia.

Firstly, you need a wreath.  SCORE... picked this one up 60% off!  It pays to wait.  It was under $12.

My youngest picked out some boxed ornaments.  And one box came with ribbon wrapped on it.  I'll be adding that to the ribbon stash!

Found these berries at the $1 Store for a buck.  I love red berries.

It helps to get the lay of the land if you will.  So, do a dry run and place your goodies before you break out the hot glue.

My wreath used 10 Tattered Poinsettia flowers I cut, 14 med red Christmas balls, a bunch of pine cones, berries and leafy bits.

I'm actually surprised this worked out.

OMG...Lovin these flowers!

Tuck, tuck, tuck all your favorite Christmas stuff and load your wreath!

Up it goes... and look, my "MAKE MERRY" is in the garland.

PHOTO BOMB....Just had to take a picture of these 3!

All the stockings are hung using suction cups.  I wasn't wreaking my natural edge mantle!

I really loved making this.  And now I want to make more.  Have you made a wreath?  What's your favorite colours?

Thanks for taking a look. Happy Decorating:)
