200 Thank You Cards

So this is what 200 cards look like!

Remember that day on Facebook...OK maybe not.

So, there was this day I posted a photo of 400 pieces of ribbons and everyone that was there...(maybe 3 people) was "like...OMG" and "YOUR F'N CRAZY" and "WTH is wrong with you".  Ya, something to that effect.  Well, now I can show you what I was making.

Here you have it...200 cards!  OR...
 100 per bin
200 cards scored
400 pieces of ribbon
400x stamping
600 cut pieces of paper
8 rolls of ATG Tape
AND...
1400 letters and numbers cut and glued, one by one!

You may be telling yourself after reading those STATS, "She's Crazy"! You'd be right!

Here are the 400 pieces of Stampin Up Ribbon, Basic Grey Stitch and Misty Blue Scallop.  Or something to that effect?

I layered the ribbon then taped them on for 5 hours straight.  I had no feeling left in my fingers.

Here, I bagged each letter and number into it's own bags.  That's 7 bags with 200 cuts in each.

Scrappy Moms Stamps just came out with this Many Thanks stamp just in time!  And Many Thanks to SMS for having this AWESOME stamp set!  It was perfect timing:)

For the bottom portion of the inside of the card I coloured by hand this big stamp from Stampers Anonymous, Booksellers and Publishers.

Aren't they fabulous together.  I had to hand colour the bottoms stamp since I didn't need the whole thing.  I once had a shiny new Black SU marker:(

All mounted and ready for the letters and numbers!

My finished card, simply made with a great impact I thought.

My husband's company (he works for) is celebrating 10 Years Today!  I made these for the the staff in the Company colours.  They distribute Book and Magazines so you can see how using the Booksellers stamp and this Newsprint SU paper is so fitting.  I kept the card design simple and to the point otherwise I'd still be making them;)

So now do you remember that day on Facebook?

Oh and just so you know I've added a "PIN IT" button at the top of the post to make it easier for you to "PIN NOW, CRAFT LATER"
