It's all about love for this Amore Hop. February is all about hearts, candies and love. Did you have a good Valentine's Day? I know I did! OK, if you are on track then you should be arriving from Lisa's blog. I have a few photo's so I'll get right to it.
For my project I altered these wood letters, XOXO. I thought about creating a BE MINE but I just kept holding the X's. I am hooked on these letters! I grabbed mine from Walmart, less than $5 a letter.
I painted the white letters red and pink, then modge podged the letters with this Recollections paper. I traced the letters on the paper first then cut it out.
I added a lot of tags, embellishments and $1 Store goodies. The tag in the back is a wood tag I got in a $2 Michaels bag and stamped it and inked it. I layered another tag with TH Valentine paper and tied it off with this wee light. The metal addition to the gear is a washer from Home Depot. I stamped
SMS Crazy For You sentiments throughout this project.
I made a small ornament with TH paper. These wood letters are from Walmart and I added red glittler glue and mini jewel hearts
The domino's are scuffed and total 14. The #2 tag I stamped and distressed.
These mini playing cards are a $1 store find and I stamped this calander. I added some metal and another heart.
This TH gear has a metal heart ornament attached with my tiny attacher and topped off with this TH stamped ticket. To add more layers I stamped some cork and tied it off with some ribbon.
This project was my first attempt at crafting with wood letters. Adding all the goodies was the best part!
