Available Classes

Want to take a class?  Are you a store looking to bring in a Guest Designer?

Here you will find a list of classes I have designed.  I can also design a class specific workshop to suit your clients creative needs.  I create Technique Rich classes where students will leave with an abundance of technique and product knowledge.  In my classes I offer techniques, product knowledge and encourage the class to be inspired to create.  This creates a confidence to apply anything they learn to any future projects, products they want to ourchase and future stash building.  Select your classes and lets make plans.

Watch for updates and new classes.  I am always making something ;)  Some of these classes will be taught at different locations.  You can see dates and links if you want to take a class.

Adventures in Journaling

Building this Journal start to finish.  Spend a few hours with me for this intense class.  A technique rich class we will create pages, texture and layers with various techniques.  Create a vibrant Art Journal ready for photo's, keepsakes or use as a Bullet Journal.  This is a messy journey so get ready for Oxide Inky fun.

I will be teaching this class in Vancouver BC in August

Butterfly Dreams

Who would have thought restraint would be a technique in itself.  This class shows off the bold colours of the butterfly and Distress Crayon background.  This class is all about blending Distress Crayons, texture paste and leaving some white spots.

Stay Curious

Venture into the vibrant Dylusions Paints with me with an element of grunge.  Have fun blending your paints with hands to create this blended look.  Add a touch of grunge with a 12x12 piece of pattern paper and freehand the flower.  This is all about hands on and letting go!

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

Watercoloring with Butterflies & Oxides

The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing tutorials all month long.  I do have a video tutorial for this card but it won't be read for awhile.  Hey, it happens.  I at least have a couple of photo's until the whole video is posted on Creative Scrapbooker Magazines website.

Loving the new Oxide inks especially as we approach those soft easter pallets.

A little stamping.

I know it's not a box or cool journal.  One of my favourite dies is the Birds & Butterflies thinlit.  Yep, there are pretty little dies perfect for card making too.

I love the intricate butterfly to layer over.

A simple card and no it's not even a journal.

I will share the video when it's all done and posted.  I will even embed it in the post too.
Onto next month...

Basket of Blooms

May Flowers are this months theme for the Inspiration Team.  I am thrilled the snow has finally melted, the trees have leaves and the bumbles are flying around.  I created a Basket of Blooms For Sale.  Love these flowers!

I cut the Basket die with chipboard and sprayed.  All the Spring Leaves and Pansy cuts are done with watercolor paper.  Coated in Dylusions Shimmer Spray.  HOLY SHIMMERY COLOUR!
Did I mention it's messy!  WOOT WOOT!
I love these colourful blooms agains the dark stained wooden basket.

I hope your May Flowers are coming in and the Bumbles are happy.  Don't forget to check out with the team is up to all month long sharing their May Inspiration.
