I love the rustic feel to these paper designs... and I am not a paper person. But for these I made an exception. Combined with my dies, stamps and embellishments they create a stunning layer to my creating.
I have a few different projects I created with the Holiday Style Paper to give you some inspiration from Holiday Decor, to gift tags and a card. Check it out!
I love this Fa La La La sign but I needed to age the galvanized metal bucket. I was going to hang my sign from it but then I brought out my sled and well... it all looks amazing together!
I create so much I will often rip up a projects and reuse. Some fresh distress paint, sanding and new paper is perfect. I only use double sided paper if I can so flip it over and the perfect pattern for the
Dashing Deer die layered on chipboard.
Hid the edges with some thick twine and ink the edges of the deer. I cut the sign letters using mat board from the
Block Talk XL Die, inked with candied apple distress spray stain then embossed some bling with
Red Sparkle embossing Powder.
A simple Holiday Home Decor project. A few die cuts, paper and powders and you're ready to Fa La La La La...
I hung this sign from the
Rustic Sled I made a couple years ago.
It may not be on the bucket of ornaments but it looks amazing hanging from the sled. All I need is snow!
Gift Tags
A different take on the
Mini Wreath tied with a
Bow Tied bow. It hangs free on this burlap gift tag.
A basket of Snowballs is up next with another tag and
Mini Skate layered in more Holiday Style paper. Check out my
FOR SALE blog post for more details on the tag using the
Holiday Style and how to make snowballs.
A simple card... using Holiday Style
I stamped Believe using the
Woodland Winter stamp in Distress Ink Pine Needles.
Also from the
Woodland Winter this sentiment is big enough to spread holiday cheer!
These coordinating papers look amazing! I added some burlap and this metal
Deer Charm to continue that rustic look.
Don't forget it and Pin it! While you're there check out my Pins.

Love rustic! Especially the burlap tags. :)
ReplyDeleteI am just mad for their plaids! Totally nailed that lodge-rustic feel that I just adore...makes me feel like I'm going to look out the wimdow and see snowflakes beginning to stack up in the panes of the window, any moment! Well...except that I'm instantly brought back to the fact that I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of TEXAS...setting record high temps for November...ha! Thanks for the little "trip" up North, though! (dang! Just when I was about to go find my stocking cap, too!)

ReplyDeleteAmazingly beautiful projects using this collection.
ReplyDeleteYou may not be a paper person, but you certainly used these papers beautifully, Nicole! The plaid has got to be my favorite, and it is just perfect with all your other hand crafted projects on your porch and as a hanging for the sled! I always put my antique Flexible Flyer out at Christmas, too, since I can't use it here--no snow! Now you've given me inspiration to personalize it! Thank you so much for showing us all those amazing projects you've made with these papers--very inspiring! Hugs!
