Keep in Line and Plan

I'm thrilled you've stopped by this Monday Morn for Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge.  This week lets "Make a Plan".

For me I really had to put some thought to this.  Do I take the easy route and make a Christmas card (that's my easy route) or do I challenge myself and actually make a Planner.  Creating these journals or mini albums is a challenge for me.  I wanted a place I could keep my Design Team Challenges documented and in order.  Where I could tuck little bits of inspiration and ideas into pockets.  A place to stay organized and keep to the plan.

I have these Worn Cover journals laying around and all these wee Tag Page Pockets.  This would be a good place to start.  I grabbed some Emphemera, Idea-Ology and Pocket Cards then went to town.

I inked the Alpha Parts Documented with distress paints antique linen and fossilized amber then distressed it.

I love the metal arrows with the mirrored star.  It's a great way to add texture and dimension.

Who doesn't love to dangle metal bits on linen ribbon.

I love all these Pocket Cards!

I layered these with some of my assorted emphemera, pen nib.  photobooth, a mini clip, these awesome big chat stickers and a wee tiny tattered floral for her hair.

For the pages inside I used a combination of Pocket Cards and scrap paper for larger page dividers.  This is where the binder punch comes in handy.

I've created 12 months of pages where I can add challenges, make notes or even add die cuts, idea-ology and papers I want to work with.  The pockets can hold inspiration.

Even the Design Team Book inspires me!

What are you planning ahead for?  Is it the holidays, journaling or perhaps a vacation.  Share your plan, we'd love to see it over at Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge.  Not to mention you have a chance to win $50 to Simon Says Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to share your thoughts.  I'll be sure to make a note in my new fun book!
