Anything Goes Crackle!

Frilly and Funkie Challenge  is hosting a new challenge and this time it's all about the CRACKLE!

"Let's see some cracks on your creations! You can use crackle paint, crackle paste, crackle glaze, crackle accents, an old cracked image, a piece of cracked UTEE, a cracked pattern from a stencil or stamp, you can even doodle on your crackle design! Anything goes, as long as is cracks me up!!"

I have a few jars from the $1 Store laying around and thought this would be the perfect Crackle project!  I love crackling glass.

I took it outside so you can see the cracks!  You can also add alcohol ink it!

I bent a word band then added it to the lid!

To create a "Specimen" Jar I watercolored the Perspective Butterfly using cracked pistachio, mermaid lagoon, abandon coral and mustard seed.  Amberized Fossil isn't quite here yet!

I inked Letterpress Fly with mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio and abandon coral.

I love seeing the glass like this with bursts of colour!

Show us your crackle and share with us at Frilly and Funkie Challenge
I'll be sharing a tutorial soon on how to crackle glass.  Stay tuned!
