Scrap your Summer

Join me on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Blog for a Scrapbook Layout...?  Oh yeah... I went all scrappy for this post.  I am sharing my NEW about to release TINBIT TRAVELS Collection with Wild Whisper!    Swing by the    Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Blog  for a full tutorial!   PIN IT   EAT. SLEEP. CRAFT. {repeat}

Put a Ribbon on It!

Ribbon is the theme for Frilly and Funkie Challenge!  Who doesn't love ribbon!  Recently I got a wee package of awesome ribbon to create and play with from The Funkie Junkie Boutique!  My task... create something featuring May Arts Ribbon by incorporating it into a fun crafty project.

There are so many ways you can add ribbon to any creation.  You can of course create bows, add a layer of colourful ribbon or cut some with your dies!  Adding ribbon brings colour and texture to any project.

It's true... I love coffee!  So acquiring the new Fresh Brew die was a no brainer.

I'm crazy for the Bird Crazy birds.  I tucked this wired tyke in the cup!

I made a May Arts bow and attached it on the rear fresh brew cut.  I adore these cups!  I used the "more" from the Handwritten Sentiments stamp "eat more cake".  Who doesn't want more coffee!

I was able to make my Fresh Brewed cups 3D!  Oh how I love Eileen Hull's Make it 3D die!  This die makes ALL my Sizzix Dies way more versatile!  Not to mention I can tuck treats in this!

To finish off I tucked some burlap inside the cups.  I inked with Cracked Pistachio and Tea Dye.  It's a perfect match for the slight green and warm white of the ribbon.

Well, what do you think?  Don't you just love this bold ribbon with subtle accents!  Be sure to "Put a Ribbon on It" and share with us your creation at Frilly and Funkie Challenge
