Deco Art Quick Chalky Tins

Who doesn't love chalk paint!  I do!  Here's a quick afternoon project, simple and fun!
I recently asked to join and was accepted to join the DecoArt Blogger Outreach Program!  Basically, I come with an idea, select some product and once accepted it gets mailed to me!  Here are the Chalky Finish paints I requested.  Aren't they delicious :)

I started with these AWESOME enamel tins I found at the $1 Store for $3 each!  LOVE THEM!

A little paint goes a long way here!

I painted long strokes staying even.  These paints build so multiple thin coats are best.  I painted a few coats leaving the little lip the creamy enamel color it came with.

I painted the little handle too.

Then with a baby wipe I took off the excess.  Dry time is quick!

I picked up a set of 3 tins.  Paint with the DecoArt Chalky Finish Paints is a beautiful subtle accent, perfect for my style!

For the black chalk paint labels I used Eileen Hull Sizzix Kitchen Labels Framelit dies.

These labels are a great fit!

I made these to store some craft room goodies.  But on a kitchen counter with sugar, coffee and tea!  OMG SO CUTE!

The painted matching handle is a subtle burst of color.

These will store on one of my shelves in my crafty space.

If I change what's inside I simply write a new label with chalk.  Love that.

Check out the whole line of DecoArt.  Watch for more projects on my blog using these awesome goodies!  Thanks for checking out this easy project.
