Winter Luminary

It's my first project of the New Year with Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog!  I'm really excited this one is an Anything Goes Challenge.  Show off the stuff you've been making with your new Christmas stash!  Find your mojo and come play!
I made this very easy and pretty Winter Luminary.  If you're anything like me you're burnt out from months of creating.  So this is a perfect project to ease myself back in.

I cut the end of the vellum with the On The Edge Snow Flurries die.  Then I applied a little blue Perfect Pearls to the snow flurries for shimmer and a hint of color.

I cut a piece of vellum at 8x6.  I simply stamped the sleigh from the Deco Christmas stamp with Black StazOn.

I stamped "It's a Wonderful Life" from the new Mini Handwritten Holidays.  We can sneak this stamp as a winter sentiment.

I have a Tall Trees stamp that I stamped again with black StazOn.  I avoided reloading the ink so it would look like the trees were in the distance.  Tape the edge with doubled sided tape.  A thin strip will do.

I have a big Costco bag full of these battery Tea Lights.  Perfect for these crafty projects.

I used the taller one so you could see the glow over the sleigh.

This quick project took me 10 minutes to make.  It would be great for any occasion and so pretty with a few lined up on a mantle or table.  Haul out your stash and get playing with Frilly and Funkie.
