Ready for another look at a new CHA 2015 Eileen Hull Vintage Travel Release!
Get relaxing with this awesome Adirondack Chair! This chair is a blast to put together and super fast. Leaving lot's of time to add some fun embellishments.
I started by inking the chair with distress paint brushed corduroy.
Now to embellish...
I am no sewer and judging by my terrible pillow that is obvious. But, nonetheless I had some scraps of Electric Elements fabric that I stuffed to create a pillow. Lol... I tried!
I used a mini wooden spool to tuck a tattered pinecone flower in. Then an added pinecone and some greens.
As soon as I saw this chair my first thought was a "Gone Fishin" sign.
I stenciled the wood grain. But a texture fade with grain would work too.
Don't forget the back!
The best part was adding all the fun embellishments. This whole thing took me about 45 min to make.
Finally all my projects made it to CHA and are on display along with the rest of the Inspiration Designers creations. The
Luggage Tag I made is tucked behind the Adirondack Chair.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and share your excitement. I'm so relieved everything finally made it. It was a nail bitter!
Check it out! The rest of my Teammates are sharing and linking their Vintage Travel projects HERE.
I'll be entering this cute chair and "Pillow" in the Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge! The awesome Inspiration Emporium is hosting this round of giveaways...YAY! There was a lot of fraying going on but I sewed most of it up. So, it may not count ;P
I am so pleased your beautiful samples made it to Nicole. Loving the woodgrain on the Adirondack chair and I think your cushion looks great too! Anne xx
