Summer Hanging

A little banner fun!  I love when I get asked to play with paper.  I made this as a display at my LSS.  Classes wind down for summer but we still want to keep everything paper filled with fun projects.  Banners always look so festive.  I hung this over my hot tub hoping it would pop!  Taking photo's of banners can pose a challenge.

I used some nautical paper and the banner cut from birthday bash cartridge.

I layered a bunch of Sizzix dies, the movers and shapers round cuts, the snowflake rosette and my awesome mini antlers.  A little masculine touch!

I thought I could get away with the snowflake rosette for summer and it worked!

I cut "SUMMER" with my new Vintage Market XL Die from Sizzix on grungeboard.  Awesome having this font for bigger cuts.

I watercolored the mini blueprints 6 summer refreshments, fussy cut and attached to dangle.

I coated the vintage market letters in faded jeans distress glitter.

The summer theme all comes together!

Wow, as always thank you for the encouragement and support!  I have been working hard to have better "Blogger Karma", entering challenges and keeping on top of posting.  Especially this time of year as I become more outdoorsy and less crafting.  I love reading all the sweetness you leave behind.  Much Love!

  15. Such a fun banner!!
I love the treats dangling from each banner piece.
Summer is a busy time for us Canadians as we try to pack as much in to this season as it is so short.
As for challenges I keep meaning to enter more of them, but when I do make a card or project for it, I forget to link it, lol.
