It's already March?

How did that come so fast! I got right to my tag since March is a busy month for me.  OK who's kidding who...every month is a busy one.  I was really liking the Tapered Fringe die (or known in my mind as the grass die) but have no idea why I like it or what I would make with it.   I was excited it was used for this months tag.  I went straight out and picked it up.  Which BTW is the only die for this tag I now own.

Just had to show you how I got around not having the dies...except the grass one.  I searched and saved the M&S Bunny w/Bow image to my desktop, sized it in WORD then cut!  Once it was cut I used my Bell Jar die instead of the label one.  I could pick up the label die but honestly, I have a billion cuts my Cricut that can do the same.

You can barely tell I only have the grass die (OK, the Tapered Fringe if you prefer).  I don't recall ever seeing 6x6 seasonal up here.  But I did find in my scraps the Easter stuff from last year.  I pieced it together and glued.

The banner die is not one I have but it's on my wish list,  Especially with the Simple Sayings stamp set.  So... a scrap of cream card stock and a wavy cut with my scissors and it's essentially the same.  I love this grass!

You guessed it, no metal flowers!  But I do have some SU Floral Punches and the small flower from my new Tattered Flowers die and a little oven liner.  I just used some Acrylic paint I have.

I placed the banner below.  It was covering the top of the Bell Jar.  It was bugging me.

I made 2 tags.

I wanted to try the technique Tim used...sorta.  I cut the frame from my Sophisticated cart.  Then I used the M&S butterflies and cut.

Here they are side by side.

Three Tags down!  I can do this!!!!  Thanks for checking out March!  Ohhh April is going to be dicey!

  1. Very nice job I love the one with the butterflies on it the best. I like you do not have any of the dies but will use my Cameo to recreate some of the tag parts.
