How to make my Rosette Fall Wreath

I have wanted a Fall Wreath for my front door for sometime now.  So, I set out looking for inspiration last week and I found inspiration stalking Pinterest.  What a unique wreath getting away from the typical grapevine wreath.  While working on my 200 cards I decided building this would be a nice break.

This wreath needs 2, 12x12 pieces of card stock, cut at 6" giving you 4, 6x12 pieces. Then scored at every 1/2".  Fan fold your paper, attach the 4 pieces with tape and make your rosette.  I cut a 7" round for the backing and glued the rosette with hot glue.  Otherwise it goes into a bit of an oval shape.  Keep reading and you'll see how the back looks.

I used 7 cuts of the TH Die Distressed Doily, layer and ink the edges.  Glue them together and then onto your rosette.  Then layer some big Scallp cuts.  These are all the same from Sweet Treat cut at 7", 5 3/4" and 5 1/2".

WOOHOO, the TH Jalopy Die!  First time using it:)  I cut the Japoly on that thick board paper that comes with your 12x12 paper packs.  Painting with the black dauber for the car and brown for the pieces.  Once dried I sanded the edges of the Jalopy, inked with Walnut Stain ink then a thick coat of Rock Candy for crackle!

FALL is cut with Grunge Board and my Word Play die, painted orange, a little walnut ink and coated with rock candy. So are my Movers and Shapers pumpkins!  I "strapped" the pumpkin to the roof of the Jalopy with twine and glued.

There are those Pine Cones again collected by my kids.  If you missed the FALL Home decor project and these wee pine cones check it out HERE.  Lots of hot gluing!

I layered some $1 store leaves and berries.

Using thick twine I attached several cut pieces cut at different lengths for the bottom but raffia would work too.  I also hung 3 large pine cones tied with twine.  Finally a strand of $1 Store Fall Vine, cut into 3 pieces and attached to the back.  Everything is stapled and glued with hot glue.  It's not pretty but you get the idea.

Hanging on my front door for now with a suction hook.  All my Fall decorations are coming out this weekend.

Finally, I have a FALL Wreath:)

If you saw my little teaser on Facebook this morning then you might be happy to see what I was working on!

Oh I'm thinking this may turn into a Halloween one in the coming weeks!  Back to my 200 cards!  Have fun if you make one too:)  I really like making this.
