CNS "Little Hop of Horrors" Chocolate Wrapper

We're getting Closer my Pretties!

Are you ready for something a little different!  I made this simple chocolate bar wrapper and embossed the cardstock with a spiderweb folder.  The pattern paper is full of bats that I got from SCRAP HUT and also the skulls and bones are cut from the Oct 31st cart.

Gina asked about the dimensions...I cut it at 6 1/4" x4".  The cut will depend on your chocolate bar.  I just wrapped, marked and cut it.

This lovely Lolita is Willow and you can find her and many more Lil Lolita's over at Tickeld Pink Stamps.  I wanted to make her a little creepy to terrify you away from the chocolate!  The sentiment is My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns which you'll have a chance to win one of her stamp sets.

CNS "Little Hop of Horrors" Preview

Pumpkins and Bats OH MY...

Let me just start by saying when I first saw all the Simply Betty Stamps EMO Halloweenies, Pumpkin London jumped out at me!  She is on of my favorite in this Creepy Bunch!

All this fun paper can be found at SCRAP HUT and it's soooo creepy!  I punched out all thes fun little bats from the Martha Stewart bat punch and let them fly around.  The sentiment is from Haunting we will Go from Scrappy Moms Stamps and I cut it in half to have it all off as if it had been thrown on there.

Only a couple days until we are finally ready to Hop!

Using RANDOM.ORG I have a lucky winner from yesterday's comments!

CONGRATULATIONS

I hope you enjoy your HALLOWEEN TREAT and looking forward to what you create! Thank you to everyone for sharin the love and thank you if you are new to STALKING my Blog.  You won't be sorry!

All About Betty Blog Hop

ALL ABOUT BETTY BLOG HOP

The gals from The Burtonesque Dolls, Simply Betty Stamps and Simply Betty Challenges blogs figured it was a good time to put together a blog hop of our very own:

SIMPLY BETTY.

If you are just arriving to my blog you need to start HERE!  You should be just arriving from Gloria's Blog, which I know is amazing!

This hop is ALLLLLLLLLLLLL about Betty and since October is Betty's favorite month and there are sooooo many exciting things happening, why not do it just before?!! This way we can get things warmed up for the whole October and Halloween theme. Kinda like an appie!!

And since Halloween is her favorite time of year you will be seeing mostly, if not all Halloween cards and we have used only Betty Emo's images.

My Message to Betty;

"Thank you Betty for giving me my very first Design Team job only 3 months after starting my Blog!  I stumbled across this new Challenge Blog called The Burtonesque Dolls with only hours to spare before the DT Call was closed.  You were so patient with me as I learned the ropes and were always cheerful in your emails, reminding me we were all new at one time.  And you promised my computer wouldn't explode when I clicked "Schedule Post".  And even after all that you still let me on Simply Betty Challenges!  Since then I've found a kindred spirit in you.  Someone that loves Halloween as much as I do and feels it's perfectly normal when those around us think we're nuts.  I've connected myself with some amazing strong woman because of you.  Now I find myself calling you my Cyber Sista and friend.  There for you when you need me!  Your Canadian Twin Sister...Eh!"

I made this a 5x5 Easel card so it wouldn't fall over from all the paper.  The DP is all from SCRAP HUT and works AWESOME with Back to School Betty from the Emo Collection over at Simply Betty Stamps.  Someone (Erica) on my CNS Facebook Newsfeed had mentioned this Spiral Card and I was totally into knowing what that was.  Right away I knew there would be BATS everywhere!  Click HERE to see the tutorial.  Although, I did not follow this tutorial it did show me the idea behind the Spiral Card.

The sentiment goes well with all these Bats from the Haunting we will Go stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.   Pop in on Oct 2nd for your chance to win this set and more.

OK so Tin Foil is my new favorite in EVERYTHING I make now!

I cut these fun bats out at 2" using the October 31st Cartridge.  Be sure to Hop back here for my "Little Hop of Horrors" Halloween Blog Hop for your chance to win this fun cartridge from SCRAP HUT.

Without further ado, let's check out some more inspiring and creative cards from all the ladies. Please note because this is an appreciation blog hop there are no prizes. It's just for fun but the ladies wouldn't mind some luving from you anyway!!

Thanks for Hopping by and now you're ready to Hop over to Debbie's wonderful Simply Betty inspired project.

Step Fold Card HALLOWEEN Week

It's Halloween Week at CNS, gearing up for the "Little Hop of Horror" Halloween Hop

Are you feeling in the Halloween Spirit?  I know I am.  Saturday is going to be Spooktackular, Spookified, Spook-A-Lishous!  Join me all week as I show off all these amazing Sponsors!  Everyday this week there will be a new fun Halloween project for you to get inspired!  So get geared up!!!!

Check out these Emo Halloweenies from Simply Betty Stamps.  FrankenMillerstein is in the front of the Cemetery and VampChristian is creeping in the rear.  You can find them and all thier Goulish Emo's over at Simply Betty Stamps.  To check out more Emo Halloweenies go to Simply Betty Challeneges, where you'll find my DT cards and all the other DT cards.  The sentiment is a Scrappy Moms Stamp, Haunting we will Go stamp set.  These great stamps are designed with your Cricut Cartridges in mind but they go well with anything.  Check out this set and the whole line of Scappy Moms Stamps.  And for Canadian Shoppers you can order these sets through Scrap Hut, EH!  Whoa... if it's in colour click it and you'll cyber launch to that website.

Not so spooky with my kitchen back there.  I should have hauled out all the bones, spiders and bodies.. and pumpkins and bats and...

Martha Stewart Graveyard border punch and an Oct 31st tombstone that I sponged with black and added the 1870.  Doesn't VampChristian look creepy!

This card goes quick using the Oct 31st cart, a plethora of spooky punches and throw in a Digi or 2 and your good to HAUNT!

I've always wanted to try these Step cards. I know there are different style's and this is the one I went with. Cut your piece of cardstock at 5 1/2" x 10 1/2" then score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6" and 8 1/4". That will give you the folds to layer back. Although the card looks challenging it really is not. Using the October 31st cartridge made the cuts go fast. I used Martha Stewart punches for the Graveyard background, Goo and bats. The haunted house in the rear is cut at 4", just make sure you leave your speed at low. These are detailed cuts. The extra tombstones are cut at 2" all from the October 31st cart.

Check out the sponsors used in todays card.  Combine all these together and you could create this too.  Come on, I gave you all the links now get peeking.

OH AND MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE ME A COMMENT, I MIGHT HAVE SOME RANDOM TREATS TO GIVE????  IF YOU FOLLOW, LEAVE ME A 2ND COMMENT TO DOUBLE YOUR CHANCES.

The Soot Technique is perfect for Halloween!

VIDEO- Got a Sec for a Quickie?

***This is my 2nd post today, scroll down to see my card***

It's been so sticking long since I made a video...and this isn't even the video you were hoping to see .  However, I did say I'd post a little Video of Chaos.  So I'll keep this short and sweet ...like me.  Minus the sweet, I'm more Sassy!

The filming of this video does not involve any paper, machines, embossing equipment, embelly's, markers or Digi's.  No animals were hurt during the filming of this short film.  But I thought about it...

OK, now you've seen him...Back to paper!

Alright, I think I got it!

No too Creepy today

Easel Does It on the Halloween Creep-a-thon!
So, today I am taking a wee bit of break from all the Halloween goodness.  Not that you can't creep out Gossemere from Tiddly Inks  I'm a HUMUNGO fan of Tiddly Inks Digi's, or should I say thier Gothic Cute Digi's.  For today's spooktastic (alright, I still have Halloween on my mind) creation I made this pretty sympathy card.  I coloured Gossemere with shades of blue, just enough to make her pop from the blue hues in the DP.  The DP with squiggly skully things match and you can also grab this Digi Paper from Tiddly Inks, $1!

These sentiments from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Everyday Greetings" work perfecty!

I added some sparkle to some random...oh what would these be squiggles?  And sponges some black ink all around.
I made this sympathy card for a fellow Bloggy Buddy. I don't know about you but I have found this to be a supportive, thoughtful community of all you paper lovers!

Ok onto a couple of things...

Embossing Foil

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL

I have another sneak peek for you!  The Greeting Farm is sponsoring 2 of thier new Halloween Digi's...ya I squealed when they said they would add these into the mix!  This TGF Bride is one of my favorites, so I went online purchased, downloaded and printed in under 10 minutes!  I LOVE DIGI'S!

So, it's FALL which means my pantry is stuffed for Crock Pot cooking!  What does this mean for my card, well nothing.  However, when I was making a pot of chilli I saw the tin foil.  Which made me think Cuttlebug, doesn't everyone think that?  Now, if you have never done this before be careful and gentle.  If you have spray adhesive that would be great, I used my Zig 2 Way Glue pen to get it carefully onto the card!

Martha Stewart Goo punch worked so well here!  Good thing I have great friends that lend me there stuff!

My Fellow DT CLICK HERE insprired this bat with his wings curled under...now why didn't I think of that!  Thanks Patty!

How perfect is this Scrappy Moms Stamps "DIE-MONDS are a GHOULS best friend" stamp from Haunting we will Go!  This set makes me HAPPY!

Join me next week starting September 27th where you can see Spooky Halloween projects everyday featuring all the Sponsors.  Just in time for the Blog Hop, so when you win you'll have some fun projects to try!

Got Beer????

Va Va Voom Beer Eh!

Pass around the Jugs..I mean pitcher of beer!  OK, we all know how hard it can be to make a MAN CARD for your men!  But this was too stinkin easy.  I have had this Digi awhile and have been wait to use it.  Here's the story...  last winter we would get together with friends pretty much every weekend.  Now, being Canadian beer is pretty much the necture of life up here.  Every weekend we would pick a country, find beer from that country and make a dinner from that country!  For example, Sapparo from Japan and we would eat sushi...YUM, beer from India and we'd make Indian...BIG YUM.  Sunday or friend is having his Birthday.  I decided on this image and create the gift around it.  I went and grabbed some Guiness and beer from Howe Sound, Germany and my son grabbed one from Belguim.  (HEY, he's a Canadian Kid they know about beer from an early age)  My bad, I told my son to grab any beer he wanted.  I got in a wee bit of trouble since he's a minor and can't pick beer without me, BAH RULES!  Fine, I walked back into the Cooler Room and he picked!

So, this 5x5" Easel card is perfect for any Canadian Mantel!  If they are easy to stand they don't get stuffed in the junk drawer or recycled.  See...using the noodle to think it through.  I took strip's of DP, tore and layered to cover the 5" piece of cardstock.  I coloured this beer sloggin barmaid with my SU Markers and chose golden yellow and green tones.  Let me tell you it's stressful colouring beer, I had better get it right!  I Stickled the beer foam (or head) to give it that golden moist look!  OMGAWD, this is quickly going from PG13 to R rated!
OK here's the card!

The MS Goo Punch works like spilling beer and I thought it looked great with a little Stickles.

Our friend is Irish Decent so the "Kiss me I'm Irish" stamp fits from "The Charmed Life" set you can find at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Stickled foam on the beers makes it pop!

The "Party Time" stamp is also a Scrappy Moms Stamps from "The Charmed Life" set!  How fun!

Whoa, yep that's me as Gretal.  The beer stien my hubby brought back from Germany for us.  This was my Halloween Bash 2008 Party.  I had no liquid in mine it was for show!  BTW, they are beautifully made!  My husband and I went as Hanzel and Gretel and it's not lost on me they were brother and sister!
